Introduction to Computer Case Lights

Computer case lights are used to illuminate your computer case. They look great at night & if you can get your hands on a clear or semi-clear computer case the lights will be much more effective. Windowed computer cases are very popular & go well with computer case lights. See below to learn how to install cold cathode light tubes into your computer.

How to Install Cold Cathode Lights

   1. Unpack your Cold Cathode Light tubes & have them ready.

   2. Make sure your computer is turned off & unplugged from the power source.

   4. Lay out the case & side panel to examine the exact location that you would like to install your computer case light tubes.

   5. Ensure there is enough space in the computer case to get the cold cathode light tubes and inverter inside without having problems closing the computer case.

   6. If you choose to use the switch make sure that there is enough room for the mounting location of the switch and ensure there is enough wire for the switch.

   7. Make a cut into the computer case as required for the switch mounting.

   8. Install the rocker switch into the new mounting hole.

  10. Set the plastic feet in place for the installation of the case lights.
