Gold is essential to success when playing World of Warcraft. The currency of the game, gold is necessary for purchasing equipment, obtaining training, and buying and selling at the auction house. Fortunately, there are several ways to earn gold in World of Warcraft.
As a young Mage in my early levels I had lost count of the number of boots worn bare by the constant running back and forth to Auction House to empty my puny little bags of looted items during my daily grind for wow gold. The Dwarves of Ironforge would fall about laughing at the sight of my tiny sacs when buying a round in the Bronze Kettle and I tired of the Elves giving me sympathetic advice on how best to increase their size. But it was a Gnome who gave me sound advice and told me straight: 'Sonny, don't sell yourself short. To grind efficiently, you need to buy more bags'.
Now when it comes to the subject of bags, don't listen to those big girls the Elves, whose main use of their bags is as off-hand weapons during tavern brawls. Instead, listen to the Orcs on this matter who have a saying: 'The bigger da bags da better'.
The fact of the matter is that when it comes to wow gold farming, you need as much bag space as you can afford as early as possible. There are number ways to obtain more bags: purchase a bag, as a reward from a quest, craft them or grind them.
But vanity items raise some good questions with most World of Warcraft players. These are very easy to farm or obtain but most players do not even know they exist! Some of the players may even have a few in their inventory and they will not make the money they SHOULD!
Vanity items are those items that very simply make the characters look pretty. They have no other purpose at all. These range from foods or drinks that alter characters effect, to clothing that makes a character look like a fisherman or a ninja! This also includes pets that people do not know about.
Players love collecting things. Buying pets and reselling them can make you a lot of gold for this exact reason. In fact theres a few pets that sell for hundreds of gold because they are a rare drop.
Different methods of earning gold work better for different characters, but any character can earn enough gold to meet their needs in World of Warcraft if they are willing to put some effort into it.
